For those who are attending who are flying in, there are a few options to get you here! Our top recommendation would be to fly into Pittsburgh International Airport or BWI- Thurgood Marshall Airpot. You can also fly into Reagan International Airport (DCA) or Dulles International Airport (IAD). From any of these options, you will have to either rent a car or schedule a shuttle to get out to the lake (please read below for more information).

If you are flying in and wanting to spend time exploring all that Deep Creek has to offer, we highly recommend renting a car. A car rental can be picked up from any airport listed above. Please note that if you are wanting to return the car while in Garrett County for any reason, the only return option available in the area is through Enterprise. Check back for discount codes with rental companies!

If you are coming in by plane and are not wanting to rent a car, there is a shuttle service that can be booked for a larger party from Pittsburgh International Airport to your specified location within Deep Creek. The service can be booked through County Caravan.

Whether you are making the drive from your home, or renting a car and driving from the airport, Deep Creek Lake is easy to get to via car! From Pittsburgh the lake is roughly 90 miles, or about two hours. From the Baltimore area your journey will take about two and half hours. From Washington, DC you can expect the drive to take roughly three hours. Each route is full of gorgeous views, cute small towns, and great spots to stop off!

Ubers and taxis are not in abundance in Garrett County, Maryland, please keep this in mind while making your travel plans.
